This week we were given a list of many different shots/ camera angles, wee then had to choose around 12 of them to produce ourselves. When I saw that we were doing this project I was very excited. I have always loved filmmaking so this project was right up my alley. I decided I didn't only want to do the project and get it over with but also have a fun time doing it. During my Friday night shift Starbuckscks, we were extremely slow, meaning we could get all of our closing duties done extremely early, givng us a lot of time to work on this project together. My friends/ co-workers got extremely into the idea and we got most of it done while also enjoying oursleves the whole time. Being at this school is something very foreign to me. After being at a private school for my whole life until this point in my life, I have gotten used to things like knowing all of the kids in the high school by name, a graduating class of only about 35 kids, and so many other things that just sound crazy at a school like Lely . I was very comfortable at Seacrest. Seacrest became my home, and it is where all my friends are, but something wasn't right. My mom, Brother, and I were in need of a change. So far, the transition has been very smooth, yes this transition is very scary (especially as a junior) but it was a necessary step I needed to take in my life, and I am much more excited than I am frightened.

I am taking this class because I have been interested in film production for a long time. I was firsed introduced to the Adobe  Premeire Pro video editing software in 8th grade and I have been interested ever since. At first I didn't like the video editing process because of how much time it took, but as I got better and as I got faster, I started to enjoy it more and more, and the better I got, the more proud I was when I got to view the finished product. I am very excited for this class because I want to improve on a broader type of skills and learn to love all things in the field of video production.
